Hrair A. Koutnouyan, M.D.

Dr. Koutnouyan is a Board-Certified Otolaryngologist who joined the practice in 1997. He graduated with honors from the University of California at Riverside and received his medical education at the University of California, San Diego. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology at the Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Oakland, California. Dr. Koutnouyan incorporates a functional medical approach in treating a broad spectrum of adult and pediatric ENT conditions. These include nutritional, lifestyle and whole body assessment and interventions as appropriate. His particular interests include snoring and sleep apnea, pediatric ear and throat infections, nasal allergies and sinus conditions, thyroid and parathyroid conditions, voice disorders and rehabilitating hearing loss in the elderly.

David K. Yun, M.D.

Dr. Yun is a Board Certified Otolaryngologist who joined the practice in 2005. He completed his undergraduate education at Stanford University and received his medical degree from the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. His residency at Montefiore Medical Center in New York City gave him experience in state of the art techniques such as minimally invasive parathyroid surgery and image guided sinus surgery from leaders in the field. He is listed in the Consumers’ Research Council of America’s“Guide to America’s Top Physicians.” Dr. Yun has an extensive knowledge of the treatment of disorders in all fields of otolaryngology.

 

Sarah Carroll, M.D.

Dr. Carroll is a Board certified Otolaryngologist who joined the practice in 2011. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of Virginia and received her medical degree from the University of Southern California. Her internship and residency were completed at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, where results of her head & neck research were published in several scientific journals. Dr. Carroll enjoys seeing both adult and pediatric patients and treats a wide range of ENT disorders, specializing in treatment of hearing and ear related disorders, sinus diseases with image guided sinus surgery, and thyroid/parathyroid disorders including minimally invasive surgery and utilizing office based ultrasound.

Eric Yavrouian, M.D.

Dr. Yavrouian is a fellowship trained Facial Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon and Board Certified Otolaryngologist who joined the practice in 2014. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from UCLA with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry before attending medical school at the University of Southern California’s Keck School of Medicine. He completed his residency at USC and a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Houston. Dr. Yavrouian is skilled in all aspects of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive surgery including cosmetic and functional rhinoplasty, revision rhinoplasty, facial rejuvenation, and reconstructive surgery. He has extensive training in both primary and revision aesthetic procedures as well as non-surgical facial rejuvenation.

Robert Weissman, Au.D.

 

Dr. Weissman received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from California State University Los Angeles, and his doctorate of Audiology from the University of Florida in Gainesville. He holds particular interest in adult hearing rehabilitation. Other sub-specialties of Dr. Weissman’s include monitoring of ototoxic and vestibulotoxic agents, evoked potentials and geriatric assessment. He frequently addresses professionals and the general public regarding fall prevention, the diagnosis and treatment of balance disorders, hearing disorders and hearing rehabilitation.

Sondra Samples, Audiologist

Sondra Samples is a licensed audiologist in the state of California and holds a certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association. Sondra has more than thirty years of experience testing people of all ages in the hospital as well as in the outpatient setting. She is equally skilled in testing newborns, as she is in testing geriatric patients. She is also adept at working with individuals with special needs and patients who have English as their second language. Sondra received her bachelor’s degree in Communicative Disorders from California State University, Northridge and her Master’s degree in Audiology from Idaho State University. She is a member of the California Academy of Audiology. Sondra has been doing audiologic testing for ENT Surgical Associates since 1987. Sondra is married and has two sons; and lives in Eagle Rock. She volunteers for the Glendale YMCA as a camp director on Catalina Island. She also teaches Sunday school and works with children who have autism. In her free time, Sondra enjoys playing the piano and the guitar, reading, sailing, and camping.

Juliann Garcia, Management

 

Juliann Garcia is a native of Southern California and attended Cal State Northridge for her undergraduate education. She joined the practice as the office manager in 2008. She came with more than 25 years of ENT office practice experience. She has excellent long- term rapport with the area medical offices as well as the community hospital administrative offices. She is an active member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology Administrators. She attends regional and national meetings annually to stay current with state and federal requirements and trends.
